The BMW Racing Drivers Club has been established as the fastest road tyred championships in the UK, created for those who strive to race their most prized possession at an affordable price.

Our History

From new, innovative models to the world-famous batmobile, the BMW Racing Drivers Club has been the home to a wealth of BMW supercars.

Established in 1987, the BMW Car Club Championship was designed to give enthusiastic BMW owners the opportunity to take on some of the UK’s leading race circuits. Thanks to the immediate success of the events, ten years later, in 1997, the championship become officially sponsored by Kumho Tyres. To this day, the BMW Racing Drivers Club remains a cost-effective, sixteen-race event which is ideal for amateur drivers.

Celebrating 30 Years of Racing

The BMW Racing Drivers Club is proud to have grown to become the most successful championship organiser for solely BMW models. In the 30 years since establishment, a wealth of competitors have progressed in their racing career, from Liz Halliday who has become the commentator for Euro Sport Le Mans, along with Tom Wrigley who won the Ginetta GT4 Supercup in 2016.
